Our Veterinary Team
Ian Wooding MRCVS
Practice Principal
Ian graduated from the University of Bristol in 2007 and has worked continuously in small animal general practices. After a few years of working on the South Coast of England, he returned to Havering where he grew up, and where he had been schooled. He has been working in small animal general practice in the East London/Essex area since.
Ian enjoys a wide range of areas of small animal medicine and surgery and is always looking to broaden his skill set as an all-rounder. When not at work Ian enjoys playing cricket in summer, running, and relaxing with his family and feline companion Chilli.
Dina
Veterinary Nurse
Dina qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2016 and has worked in the industry for over 10 years. She has a keen interest in areas of Anaesthesia & Laboratory Diagnostics and particularly enjoys examining specimens under the microscope! Dina has had the good fortune to travel throughout her career which included volunteering with some spectacular wildlife in South Africa. She enjoys spending time with her family; in particular having nice walks with her two doggies!
Emma
Veterinary Nurse
Emma is a valued and experienced member of our nursing team. A true pet lover, she obtained her RVN status in 2012 and gained her exotics badge in 2017. The scope of Emma’s nursing experience is as big as her personality and includes Emergency & Critical Care, Orthopaedics and Exotics. Her longer-term goal is to have a quiet life living in the lake district, no doubt surrounded by a number of furry friends!
Paige
Veterinary Care Assistant
Paige is the youngest member of our team and has been a collier row resident all her life. She has joined us in dual roles at our reception desk and as a VCA. She has always had a key interest in animals and we hope she can fulfil her potential here with us at Woodings. Paige has the ultimate ambition of joining our nursing team once qualified.
Terri
Receptionist
Terri is a resident of Collier Row and has worked locally for most of her life. A dog lover with a keen interest in animal welfare; she approached us with the view to working at our new practice. We have been delighted to welcome her to our team.
Courtney
Receptionist
Courtney has worked with our family for a number of years prior to opening our Veterinary Practice and has a masters degree in Strategic & Digital Marketing. She was overwhelmed by the opportunity to work with us here as she has a real passion for animals having several dogs and lizards herself. She is really enjoying the diversification and expanding her skillset with the diverse range of animals we see daily here at Woodings.
Samantha Finney
Director
Sam has been an integral part of the adjoining family businesses for over 25 years. A qualified nurse and true animal lover; she has managed teams within the care industry for 2 decades. She has proved the perfect addition to assist Ian in directing his clinical team and maintain the highest levels of care to our patients.
Wooding’s Family Veterinary Practice has been a lifesaver for our dog, Max. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with his health.
